Member of Access Ministry of Forest Hill Church’s Southpark Campus. Enjoys
learning about God as she socializes with other Access Ministry Members.

Mitey Rider Waxhaw, NC
Learned how to ride a horse named Greymaster. Mastered riding a horse named
Red. Accomplished holding reins and using stirrups in order to ride horse 95%
independently in Spring Horseshow 2009. Earned blue ribbon, trophies and medal. Earned
confidence, pride and life-long friendships. Was shown on Carolina Travelers in Fall of
2007.

Responsible for having tons of fun as she fellowships with other youth and learn about
God. Assigned to a peer and a buddy who help her make the most of the weeklong day
camp for youth with disabilities.

Member of Girl’s Club. Enjoyed learning about citizenship, academics, science, etiquette,
fashion, and character with other members of the Girl’s Club. Helped with Loave
and Fishes Food Drive as well as Hands On Charlotte Day.

Member of TR Spirit Squad for Mecklenburg Parks & Recreation Therapeutic
Division. Spirit Squad also sponsored by Carolina Panthers and Top Cats. Enjoyed
learning cheers and how to shake her pom poms as she socialized with other spirit squad
members. She was the youngest member of the squad.

golf, met Debi Faubion and David Thompson.

2000 - 2008 ESUCP Walk with Me
Team member of Team Walking Watkins Charlotte, NC
Raised money for team to donate to Charlotte ESUCP’s Annual Walkathon since it started
in year 2000 as United Cerebral Palsy’s StRoll in the Park. Enjoyed StRolling around
Freedom Park to get her jelly bracelets after each lap as she saw and reunited with old
friends. Served as a 2007 Walk with Me:StRoll in the Park Honorary Ambassador and
helped Charlotte Major Pat McCrory and ESUCP CEO cut the starting ribbon.

2006 - 2009 Special Olympics
Track and Field Participant Charlotte, NC
Competed in the 50 yard wheelchair competition each year and has accumulated several gold
and bronze medals. Enjoyed having a buddy for the day at Charlotte Country Day as she
was able to do arts and crafts, reunite with old friends, and make new friends.

EDUCATION
1999 - 2002 ESUCP Children’s Developmental Daycare Charlotte, NC
Graduated from Preschool after numerous hours of physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech
therapy and lots of constructive playtime. Made many lasting friendships that are still strong today.
INTERESTS
Wearing pink everyday; getting nails painted pink, of course; watching Hannah Montana; attending
physical and occupational therapy at Touchstone Therapy in Pineville; getting hair done; shopping for
clothes with Grandmother; planning parties; painting and creating art; playing with Disney Fairy online;
and doing science experiments with little brother.
